Amazon publishing

Prepare your manuscript for Amazon KDP.

BookSpace creates the interior and the files. Publishing on Amazon is still yours. There is no direct Amazon integration — you submit in your own KDP account.

Workflow

A practical KDP preparation path

  1. Write and review the manuscript in BookSpace

Complete the structure, develop the chapters, and review the interior until it is the book you intend to publish.

  2. Export the files a KDP workflow expects

Typically a paginated interior such as PDF, plus an editable source such as DOCX. EPUB is the ebook path. BookSpace produces these files; it does not upload them for you.

  3. Prepare cover, metadata, and territories yourself

Title, description, categories, pricing, and cover design are managed in your Amazon KDP account — or with your designer. BookSpace is not a storefront dashboard.

  4. Submit in Amazon KDP

You or your publisher upload interior and cover, complete KDP's checks, and publish. Acceptance depends on Amazon's current requirements and on the quality of the submitted package.

What BookSpace can do

Create a complete long-form manuscript, help you refine it, and export interiors suitable for a KDP upload package when you follow Amazon's current specifications.

What you still do

KDP account setup, tax and payout details, cover, keywords, categories, and clicking publish. Always re-check Amazon's help pages before upload — their rules change.

Produce the interior first.

Start the manuscript in BookSpace, then take the exported files into your KDP account.
